For this history project, the task was to illustrate a famous graphic artist or designer’s iconic style. Daniel Clowes was chosen. The portrait depicts him as an endearing outsider being pulled into a spiral of unwanted events. Daniel has the same blank stare seen in his characters from Wilson and Patience.

The colour pallet is inspired by one of his most famous graphic novels, Ghost World. The linework is based on his old graphic novel style seen in Eightball.
